Judy's Calendars

I've been to Bosque del Apache to photograph Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese four times now - and I'm sure I'll go at LEAST four times more and then some. It's a fantastic place to see these birds. This year (2009), however, there weren't the numbers of birds as has been in the past. From what we heard, the low numbers had to do with a bad crop of corn. In some respects, not as many birds to photograph, it made it easier to isolate one or two - but - it's always exciting to see thousands upon thousands of birds taking off all at once. This first calendar are images from my first trip. The second and third calendars are from my trip this year. I've had trips to Bosque between these two trips and haven't done much with them. Maybe I should do that???
